- The events of the last year have brought into sharp focus how linked we are to nature. The whole world is linked and the more we encroch on the space of wild animals the more viruses will jump species. Altough we have had throughout history pandemics of one virus or another. The benefit we have in this country is our wonderful NHS, since 1947 it has been caring for us when we are ill, the last year and the begining of this year has seen the NHS under severe pressure with Covid 19. We need to be sencible and follow the rules and keep ourselves safe and stop this virus from spreading. Please wear masks when you are in shops and be patient and curteous with NHS staff and all key workers trying to do their jobs to the best of their ability.
